Spoke with Meekosan briefly today on Yahoo instant messanger....

First off, she sent get well wishes to not_from_stars & hopes she feels a whole lot better soon. She also said to just focus on getting well & not to worry about anything else.

Secondly, re: the HCBB -
The reason why Meek hasn't been around is because her laptop finally gave out completely & permanently. It's going to take a while for her to be able to afford a new one. She thanks anyone & everyone for their offers of help with this BB. For now, it's on hold until she can find a way back on the net. She hopes that those who were having trouble finishing their stories by the original deadline will now be able to finish them & that she will be back with all of you soon

I'm off to send an email to the mod(s) officially withdrawing. It's been great, but I have other things to focus on in the meantime, and my draft has been pretty much done since mid-March.

I am noting this publicly as well, just in case my emails tumble into the void, not for any other reason.

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat as above - too many other bangs going on, not enough time to keep up. If/when this gets going again I'll see if I can get involved again.

I'm so sorry it's not coming together. I hope not_from_stars gets better soon and I hope meekosan's computer problems clear up.

My fic is pretty much done (I keep poking at it, but you know how that is). It has been edited and betaed (HUGE thank you to annieb1955) and re-edited. So if this thing happens, just let me know and I'll send it on in! Otherwise I'll wait and listen. I can always post it elsewhere if this doesn't work out this time. No worries.
