For those of you still in this, I will be getting the official check in and status post made. This is just a friendly public service announcement to give you a heads up to put together a little note or something (save it in like MS Notepad to have ready) with your information.

Please include:

Title of Story (if you have one)
Current Word Count
Fandom/Pairing
Fic Rating (present and if it is possible to be increased, please note)
Genre(s) (hurt/comfort is a given, but you may add more)
Summary (50-75 words, give or take. Not very strict here but try to make it good *g*)
Anything else Anything else readers might need/want to know. This would include your artists as claiming is coming up soon.

Again, my apologies for everything. I hadn't planned on real life to blow up in my face like it had this month. In short, if you wish to know what happened, I first lost a dear pet in the beginning of the month. Work is giving me the runaround about the transfer that they wanted for me to do and I was more than eager for. Another pet, only 4 weeks old died. Cousin #1 is 18, pregnant, and trying to get married. Cousin #2 is in the hospital with unknown but likely immuno-related disorder. The doctors still don't know anything except she is in bad shape.

So...if you want to bail on the BigBang because I haven't kept up with the schedule as I wished, I do not blame you but I thought I would just share just how effed up things are here for me but I am going to bend over backwards to get back in the game myself.

Oh believe me, I know all about how RL can eff up your fandom life. Hang in there. Hope it improves and so sorry about your pets. Always tough to lose a loved member of the family. I'll hang in here and keep working away on my fic when I can in the hope of actually completingit.

Thanks. I had purposely did the schedule in a way that it would work with my day off but by the end of the week and being sick for nearly 2 months myself (really bad ass cold that turned into laryngitis and the cough just started coming back again today) that I just want to crawl into bed and die when I have that time to myself.

And the animals are our babies. They are as much a member of the family as the humans. Hell - we love them more than some of the human members of our family. So it was really hard the death of the cat in the beginning. Kensi (baby rat) was young and her youth was what hurt the most as she barely begun to live. Still we have to push forward. I have 2 adult and 4 other babies I have to keep active and happy. One of them the mother who is sick herself and I have to try to get her antibiotics in her but she is not liking the kitty food anymore so tomorrow is the store for some baby food.

*sighs*

Thanks. Just keep pressing forward on the fic :) I'm rooting for everyone from my little corner of hell. I have enough fics of my own and being co-written that I'm like UGH whenever my co-writer brings it up. 3 stories in progress that were over 50k each. Yeah. One I know is at 71k and been stalled for months now.

Is there a particular place we go to drop out? It has nothing to do with when the posts have been put up, I just know there's no way I'm going to have time to do this story. It was supposed to be a sequel to my spnslashbigbang story but then I didn't get that done, so it just isn't happening right now.

Oh Meek....hugs you....for all of it...Understand RL issues. Mine are driving me nuts & I'm getting way too overworked with what's supposed to be an 'on call' type 2nd job. (& their owner drama & payroll issues - as in do we pay them on time or not - would rival a soap plot)
Am definitely still in with at least mine & I think the co-written one as well (looks over at other 2)

I'm pretty sure everybody understands that RL can be such a bitch. Sorry to hear about your pets and your cousin.
I don't know if I send you an email about me dropping out (not because of you at all, more of "I got stuck and don't know where to go with this story anymore" situation). SO if I didn't, and I freaking dreamed. I'm dropping out this year, but I'll be back for the next one if there is one ;3

I'm so sorry to hear about all the trouble RL has been giving you lately.
I really hate to do this since this is my first big bang and I was so looking forward to this, but I have to drop out. It has nothing to do with things being delayed, I just can't get the first half done for the first check-in, I only have like 1000 words written :/. And for some reason my teachers don't appreciate the importance of writing fanfics instead of my thesis.... :D
